1. What
is Friendly PPPoE?
Friendly PPPoE is a PPPoE application,
it allows your computer to dial-up to your broadband Internet Service
Provider. A few of it's features / benifits are:
Pre qualifies subscriber's PC for Broadband connectivity
Supports multiple sessions
Remotely updates software and patches on subscribers PC
Integrates with web based service selection portal
Sets browser and email client according to xSP requirements
Allows multi-lingual support

3. Can you give me a How
to install?
1) Double click on the "Setup"
file
2) "Location to save file" screen - Click "Next"
3) Choose your preferred language in the drop down menu -> Click
"Next"
4) "Welcome" screen - Click "Next"
5) "Software License Agreement" screen - Click "Yes"
6) Enter your userid as provided by your ISP.
Note: you may need to include your ISP's domain as part of your userid.
Example: For Verizon customers it would be userid@verizon.net.
7) Enter your password as provided by your ISP -> Click "Next"
8) "Choose Destination Folder" screen - Click "Next"
9) "Select Program Folder" screen - Click "Next
10) Reboot and program installation will resume -> Choose Language
-> Click "Next"
11) Click "Finish"
12) Double click "Friendly PPPoE client" icon on your desktop
13) Click "Connect"
14) Surf Away!
4. How do I log in on
boot?
1) Double click "Friendly PPPoE client"
icon on your desktop
2) Click on "Preference"
3) Click on "Settings"
4) Check off "Run this program on systems startup"
5) Click "OK"
5. How do I create a new
profile?
1) Double click "Friendly PPPoE client"
icon on your desktop
2) Click on "Preferences"
3) Click on "Add Profile"
4) Enter a profile name i.e.: Highspeed -> Click "OK"
5) Enter your userid as provided by your ISP.
Note: you may need to include your ISP's domain as part of your userid.

6) Enter your password as provided by your ISP -> Click "Save
Password"
7) Click "OK"
