1) Shut your computer down
2) Plug your Ethernet cable from your modem into the "Wan"
port on the BEFSR41
3) Using a "Straight Through" Ethernet cable plug that into
your computer's Ethernet card and into the any one of the "1"
through "4" Ethernet ports on the BEFSR41
4) Make sure your modem and BEFSR41 are plugged in and powered on
5) Boot up your computer
6) Make sure that your Ethernet card is using DHCP
7) Launch your web browser
8) In the navigation bar type: "http://192.168.1.1" then
hit "Enter" on your keyboard
9) Leave the "User Name" field blank and type "admin"
as "Password" then click "OK"
10) Check off "Enable" beside the "PPPoE" header.
Enter your "User Name" (for your user name make sure you
include your ISP's domain as part of it. I.E.: for Verizon it would
be userid@verizon.net) and "Password" as supplied by your
ISP. Check off "Enable" under "Connect on Demand"
Then click on "Apply"
11) Reboot your computer
12) Surf Away!
