Access Manager (SAM)?
This is a new PPPoE software
application. Like WinPoET it uses Microsoft Dial-Up Networking. Find
out more here.
2. Can you give me a Basic
How To install?
For Windows 95, 98, &
ME:
1) Uninstall all previous PPPoE applications
2) Double click on "install.exe" within the "SAM"
folder
3) Click "Next"
4) License Agreement click "Yes"
5) Choose Destination Location click "Yes"
6) Select Program Folder click "Yes"
7) Start Copying Files click "Yes"
8) Read Only File Detected click "Yes"
9) Read Only File Detected click "Yes" (I did get this twice)
10) Insert Windows CD click "Yes"
11) Insert Windows CD click "Yes" (I did get this twice)
12) Reboot required click "OK"
13) Installer will continue after reboot
14) Check "Yes, I want to restart my computer now"
15) Click "Finish" (Computer will reboot again)
16) Double click on the "Services Access Manager" icon on
your desktop
17) "Enter User Name" that is your userid as supplied by your
ISP (You may need to include your ISP's domain as part of your userid
IE: For Verizon it would be userid@verizon.net)
18) "Enter Password" as supplied by your ISP
19) Check off "Remember Login"
20) Click "OK"
21) Close SAM window (use the x located at the top right hand corner
of the SAM window)
22) Launch browser and surf away!
