1) Shut down your PC.
2) Plug in your modem.
3) Connect an Ethernet cable from your modem to the "WAN"
port on the router.
4) Plug in the UMAX UGate 3000 (power).
5) Connect your PC(s) with an Ethernet cable from your PC's Ethernet
card to ports (1, 2, 3, or 4) in the rear of the router.
6) Turn on a PC.
7) Go to "Network Neighborhood" right click on the icon
and choose "Properties"
8) On the "Configuration" tab select the TCP/IP stack bound
to the Ethernet card connected to the router. Screen

9) Select "Properties".
10) Choose the "IP Address" tab and select "Obtain
an IP address automatically". Screen

11) Reboot.
12) Launch your web browser.
13) Point it to 192.168.0.1 then press "Enter".
14) The basic setup screen will show up for the router.
15) Hit "Apply"
16) Click on the "PPPoE" menu item.
17) Enter your user name and password (user name example@example.com).
18) Click on "Apply".
19) Go back to the "PPPoE" menu item, and choose "Connect".
19) Reboot your PC.
20) Surf away.
